about Jeff Lange

Jeff Lange was born in 1970 in Leesburg, VA, he was born into an artistic family and the youngest of 3 sons.  Jeff began drawing and painting at an early age, by the time he was in high school his art teachers deemed him as gifted. He graduated from Winthrop University in 1992 majoring in History with minors in German and Art.  After graduation Jeff moved to Atlanta where he worked as an assistant to his brother artist T. L. Lange and an art production company.  After several years, he was offered an opportunity as a gallery assistant at Lansdell Gallery. He began exhibiting his work in 1995 at the gallery moving from gallery assistant to Gallery Artist.  In the 10 years, he exhibited at Lansdell Gallery his artwork and his collector base grew. His solo show in 1999 was an overwhelming success with every artwork in the show sold, in his solo show in 2001 he again sold out. In 2002, he began to expand his galleries across the United States.

He is in over 100 corporate and private collections including; Delta Airlines, Hamilton, Dorsey &: Alston, Magill & Atkinson and the Wesleyan School in Atlanta, GA. to name a few.

Jeff’s work has been featured in the media such as Southern Living magazine as well as films, “Why Did I get Married Too’ and “One Missed Call” and the Television Series “Being Mary Jane”.
